Paralos energy wins the tender for the interconnection of the largest Solar Park in Greece and one of the five larger in Europe

JUWI, a leading international Renewable Energy Sources developer based in Germany, awarded Paralos Energy with the interconnection works for the largest Solar Park ever built in Greece and one of the five larger in Europe. For the interconnection of the 204MWp Solar Park, Paralos Energy will design, construct and set to operation a 150/33kV, 220MVA Step up Substation and a High Voltage 150kV Transmission Line of approx. 10km length (partly overhead and partly underground). The project is located at the prefecture of Kozani, Greece and will be connected to the High Voltage Center KARDIAS.

On the 1st of October 2020, Hellenic Petroleum through it’s subsidiary “ELPE RES”, completed the acquisition of the Project. The total cost of the project is estimated to 130million Euros and the construction is expected to last approximately 16months.

More than 350 job positions will be covered during construction phase.
