Paralos Energy Group Signs Agreement to join Circet Group, Opening a New Chapter of International Growth

04/08/2026

Paralos Energy Group announces the signing of an agreement with Circet Group for the acquisition of Paralos Energy PC, together with Parcon SA and Gecko Power Solutions PC.

The transaction marks an important milestone in the development of Paralos Energy Group and opens a new chapter of international growth for its companies, employees, customers and partners. Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

The agreement brings together the specialized technical expertise and established market position of Paralos Energy with the international scale, resources and infrastructure capabilities of Circet Group.

Founded in 2015, Paralos Energy has developed into a leading EPC and O&M contractor serving the renewable energy and power infrastructure sectors in Greece and Southeast Europe. The company specializes in the design, engineering, construction, commissioning and maintenance of complex energy infrastructure projects.

Its expertise covers medium-, high- and ultra-high-voltage substations, grid interconnection projects, renewable energy infrastructure and installations operating at voltage levels of up to 400 kV.

Together with Parcon and Gecko Power Solutions, the group employs nearly 200 people and supports a diversified customer base that includes leading renewable energy producers, developers, transmission system operators and distribution system operators.

While maintaining a leading position in Greece, Paralos Energy has also expanded its activities into Romania, Bulgaria and Germany, building a growing international footprint and developing the capabilities required to deliver demanding energy infrastructure projects across multiple markets.

A strategic next step for Paralos Energy Group

The agreement with Circet represents a natural next step in the development of Paralos Energy Group.

Circet’s international presence, industrial capabilities and long-term commitment to the energy infrastructure sector will provide Paralos Energy with new opportunities to accelerate its expansion, enter additional markets and participate in larger and increasingly complex projects.

At the same time, Paralos Energy brings to Circet highly specialized expertise in high-voltage substations and grid interconnections, areas that are becoming increasingly important as Europe invests in the expansion and modernization of its electricity networks.

The ability to connect new renewable energy generation capacity to the grid depends on reliable transmission infrastructure, technically advanced substations and efficient grid interconnection solutions. By combining their respective strengths, Circet and Paralos Energy will be better positioned to support these critical investments and contribute to the acceleration of the energy transition across Europe.

Continuity in project delivery and technical excellence

Paralos Energy will continue to deliver projects with the same technical excellence, operational discipline, customer focus, and unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and execution that have defined the company's success to date.

The agreement is designed to strengthen the company’s existing capabilities, while providing access to the scale, international network and broader resources of Circet Group.

George Theofilopoulos, Managing Director of Paralos Energy, commented:

Joining Circet Group opens exciting opportunities for our employees, customers and partners. Circets scale, international presence and long-term commitment to the energy sector will enable us to accelerate our development, enter new markets and deliver larger projects while maintaining the technical excellence that defines our business.

We look forward to continuing this journey as part of Circet Group and remain fully committed to leading the company going forward.”

Julio de Almeida, Deputy Managing Director of Circet Group and Head of Circet Energy, commented:

This transaction marks an important step in the development of Circet Energy and reflects our ambition to become a leading player in energy infrastructure.

Paralos Energy brings highly specialized capabilities in high-voltage substations and grid interconnections, a rare expertise that is increasingly critical to supporting the energy transition. The company has established itself as a recognized specialist in its field, with a reputation for technical excellence and successful delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects.

We look forward to welcoming the Paralos teams to Circet and supporting their next stage of growth.”
